Ayurveda is a vast science of healing. It includes preventive and treatment aspects.

The most frequent question people ask is what is Ayurveda? For most of the people Ayurveda is just intake of neem, haldi, tulsi or some spices. Few other believes it to be no more good than a placebo. Many not even consider it as a science!

  8. Aahara (intake for intake & digestive capacity)
  9. Vyayama (investigation for the body-power)
  10. Vaya (investigation for the age)

Acharya Sushruta is considered the father of Ayurveda surgery. His works are compiled as Sushruta Samhita. He described 60 types of upkarma for treatment of wound, 120 surgical instruments, 300 surgical procedures and surgery under eight heads.
