- Profuse, purulent vaginal discharge
- Reddened, edematous vulva
- Soreness
- Irritation
- Dysuria
- Child constantly handling/scratching the external genitalia
- P/R may reveal a foreign body
- Culture and sensitivity test of discharge
- EUA(examination under anesthesia)
- Medicines
- Removal of foreign body
- Isolation from other children
