Causative agent-

 Trichina spiralis

Transmission—-

 Enters the body through raw or under cooked pork or sausage. Once inside the intestines, the eggs will hatch, grow, and move to other parts of the body via the bloodstream and lymph nodes.

Symptoms And Signs—

  • Diarrhea
  • Abdominal cramps
  • Vomiting
  • High fever
  • Muscle pain
  • Heart disease
  • Muscular disease

Treatment—

Thiabendazole
