Leucorrhoea is a whitish discharge from the vagina. It is a natural defence mechanism that the vagina uses to maintain its chemical balance, as well
as to preserve the flexibility of the vaginal tissue.
This is strictly excessive vaginal discharge, without any infection.
Pathogenic leucorrhoea is called Vaginitis. There is normally more
discharge at puberty, pregnancy, ovulation and in some during
the pre-menstrual phase.
