
The causative agent of Chancroid(open sore) is Haemophilus ducreyi
Symptoms And Signs–
- Painful, soft and tender genital ulcer
- Vesiculo-pustule on perineum, vagina or cervix
- Heavy, foul contagious discharge
- Ulcers may appear in clusters
- Edema and fluctuation(inguinal buboes)
- Kissing ulcers may develop(on opposite surfaces of the labia)
- Painful urination(women)
- Pain during intercourse
